  I had an uncomfortable experience, and cannot recommend this massage business. As a first-time client I arrived 10 mins early assuming I would have paperwork to fill out. There was none. They had no idea if I had injuries or sensitive areas. They made me pay before the service instead of afterwards. I was brought into a room designed for a couples massage. Neither the lobby nor the room had any spa-like atmosphere or elements. The hostess left me to change in the dark. The table had no sheet or blanket to slide underneath; I had to use a white bath towel to cover my back and glutes. It slipped off multiple times. There was no cushion for my ankles/back of the knees like I expected. The therapist’s technique included a lot of sharp elbow, and it was painful when she did it on my bone. She didn’t do my quads or biceps, barely anything on my neck. I did not feel relaxed at all, which is what I desperately needed and the reason I booked a massage. When I emerged from the room, I was not asked how did I feel. Instead I was asked for a tip since I didn’t include one having to pay upfront and not knowing what kind of experience or service I was going to receive. The therapist’s primary focus was not on my experience, but instead on trying to get me to leave her a tip three times. I just wanted to leave. I said that I paid for the 90 minute service, but that my experience did not make me want to leave a tip for an above and beyond experience. She made a phone call to someone, and only after that was I permitted to leave.
