  I’m not from Marshalltown, so I was nervous finding a hair stylist here. I searched up “hair salons near me” and this one happened to pop up. I decided to just go to this one because of the amazing reviews, and I liked the pictures of other peoples hairs that got done. So I called around 6 to make an appointment for around January, Michelle answered and told me that I could come in so she can come take a look of my hair as soon as possible because she was going on vacation soon and couldn’t do it then. Michelle had 2 other clients and still offered to do my hair. While doing my hair, she gave me advice about upkeeping my style and gave me good advice about my struggling of dandruff, she even recommended different products for me. I love how efficient and kind she was. I even ended up staying past closed so she could finish my hair. All i wanted was a haircut but she made sure i got top notch service by washing, drying, cutting, and styling my hair for ONLY $50. Michelle was AMAZING. 10/10 recommend

  I have been going to Michelle at Arte Salon for about 4 years now and she has NEVER disappointed. I would never switch my hairstylist , the two hour drive to her is definitely worth it. Keep in mind you might spend all day here but she takes care of your hair making sure it is still healthy despite being put through a bleaching process. My mom is a hairstylist as well , with that being said Michelle is the ONLY person she trusts cutting her hair and always giving her the result she loves with a wash and style afterwards of course 🫶🏼

  I have been going to Michelle's salon for 18+ years. Nobody else touches my hair snd even since I moved away. I travel over 1 hour to see her. She has taken care of my hair thru many different colors & styles. Her work is top quality. She's very professional and honest. Be ready, she'll not hesitate to say NO if she knows that your request will damage your hair. Trust her ladies!!!

  Michelle has been style, dying, and cutting my hair for over 18+ years! She’s the only one who has cut and dyed my hair in years! She has never damaged my hair and always is honest about the work she does! She will be upfront of what’s best and thinks your hair can handle!
