Don’t go here! We asked for a few long layers in my daughter’s hair and the photo was the result. I knew from the start it was going to be a disaster when I asked for the “stylist” to wash my daughter’s hair and she told me “after the haircut.” She didn't use a single drop of water the entire time. My mother in law showed a photo of what she wanted which was a lot of choppy layers and she basically got the same exact haircut as my daughter. Not to mention the place is a hoarder’s dream. You definitely get what you pay for here. If you want quick, cheap, and outdated, you’ll find it here.

I want to share my positive experience with Janine, who I consider a true artist when it comes to hair: I have course, long, wavy hair that has been damaged by my "color box" applications purchased from Drug Mart. My hair was so many colors of brown and natural grey, it was becoming hard for me to look in the mirror! So, I stopped in Carabel Beauty this past Tuesday. Showed Janine a photo of color/highlights, cut, I desired. Confidently and sincerely she said, "I can do that." And she did the following afternoon beyond my expectations. I appreciate that Carabel's prices are reasonable, especially compared to some of the trendier salons that often charge inflated rates. I've found that those places sometimes have less experienced stylists who seem more focused on social media than on their craft. Janine's skill and 30+ years of experience in her field really stand out! Janine is now my forever hair guru. PS. The water-pressure at Carabel is AMAZING!
