I lied when I gave Danielle a 5 star review. She actually sliced a 3 inch gash across the back of my neck at the hairline that was bleeding. I lied because I thought with a good review she would try harder. Out of 5 appts with her, she once did my cut while doing 2 other ppl at the same time. She once was late and she once wasn't even in Casa Grande.. but didn't bother to tell me until I waited 30 mins and called her to find out when she might be coming. She has no respect for other people's time and explained to me how hard it was to keep track of appointments! Several times she texted me at 6 am and 7 am waking me up. She didn't bother to tell me when the shop closed. She waited 6 weeks after they closed to text me at 7 am, day of appt, and wake me up to let me know. Giving me no time to find someone else. On the days she didn't make me bleed her cuts were only so-so. She has no respect for anyone or their time. I don't cry about this shop closing but to end on a good note I will say that Danielle should be able to get a job at Great Clips.

I’m genuinely disappointed to be writing this review, but after hearing from several of my customers and friends that Joanna at Desert Glam Salon has been speaking negatively about me, months after our last appointment, I feel it’s necessary to share my experience. My first visit with Joana was great. I was thrilled with the results and even recommended her to many of my own customers. Unfortunately, my second visit was a completely different experience. I told Joana immediately that my hair didn’t resemble the inspiration photo I had shown her, it ended up being several different shades of blonde, including platinum, and looked patchy overall. She reassured me and said she could fix it in two weeks, which was surprising given Thanksgiving was just two days away. She then asked if I could come in the next morning at 9 a.m. and later moved it to 8:30 a.m. I agreed, but she showed up 10 minutes late, just as she had during our first appointment. During the correction attempt, my hair ended up turning red. When I texted her about it, she advised me to wash it with Dawn dish soap. When I expressed concern about the damage that could cause, she responded that she and a previous client that was there when I expressed how dissatisfied I was, had been talking about how “entitled” I am, and told me I’d need to figure it out on my own. This was shocking and hurtful, especially knowing how difficult and expensive red tones are to remove. To make matters worse, I’ve since heard from multiple clients of mine who later booked with her, only to hear her continue to speak poorly about me, without realizing they were referred by me in the first place. It’s humiliating and entirely uncalled for, simply because I expressed dissatisfaction with a service she did. As a fellow business owner, I know that mistakes can happen, but how you handle them makes all the difference. Unfortunately, the way this was handled was unprofessional and disappointing. I never disrespected her during our appointments or in our messages. In fact, I offered to pay for both sessions, even though I was unhappy with the outcome. I’ve retrieved our entire message history from iCloud and am happy to share it below for transparency. Please support a stylist who takes pride in their work, takes accountability when things go wrong, and treats their clients with respect.

Got Referred to go to Desert Glam Salon to get cut and color done by Danielle and I am so happy that I did. She is so sweet and she does an AMAZING job!! I love my hair and im getting married in 2 days and had no idea what I was going to do and she was confident and positive that she was going to make sure I was wedding ready and she did just that. She not only cut and colored my hair but did a style and I feel beautiful 🥰 I can't wait to come back to her again and will always refer her out now as well. If I could give 10 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Danielle is amazing. My hair was a disaster. It looked so good when she was finished it was hard to believe it was the same head of hair.

I'm absolutely blown away by Danielle's expertise and kindness! I walked in with a black box dye disaster, and she worked her magic to lighten my hair without causing any damage. The result is stunning! Danielle's attention to detail, gentle touch, and reassuring smile made the entire experience a delight. Her professionalism and passion for her craft shine through in every snip and stroke. What truly sets Danielle apart is her warmth and caring nature. She listens, advises, and executes with precision and flair. I felt valued and pampered throughout my appointment. Can't wait to see Danielle again and continue my hair journey with her! If you're seeking a talented, compassionate stylist who truly cares, look no further than Danielle.
