Mother, wife, two daughters and my son came out happy after a wash and hair trim. Great place with lots of experience friendly clean and lots of attention to detail they were very professional and they did an amazing job on my entire family. I live in North Carolina but when I visit NYC we pay them a visit

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this Dominican hair salon. For the past six months, I’ve been dealing with excessive hair shedding that started shortly after my visit. What’s most concerning is that my natural curl pattern has noticeably changed—it’s much looser and straighter than it has ever been in my life. I strongly suspect that some type of chemical, possibly a perm or relaxer, was added to the shampoo or conditioner without my knowledge or consent. I did not request any chemical treatment, and there was no transparency about what products were being used on my hair. Since that appointment, my hair has been continuously falling out in alarming amounts, and the texture change has been significant and distressing. This has affected not only my appearance but also my confidence. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who values the health and integrity of their natural hair. If you do decide to go, I urge you to be extremely cautious, ask detailed questions about every product being used, and monitor the process closely. Overall, this experience has been damaging, both physically and emotionally, and I hope others can avoid going through something similar.

I have been coming to this salon for probably about 10+ years. I have always received stellar service, while also having my hair handled with the best care. I saw a negative review about this salon, and I wanna vouch & say that I have always been treated with the most respect from this establishment. They show the most respect to everyone and anyone, no matter what! Very reasonably priced as well.

I’ve been a loyal client of this salon for over 5 years, and I strongly disagree with the recent review claiming this is a racist salon. As an African American woman, I have always felt welcomed, respected, and valued here. The team is professional, inclusive, and consistently delivers great service, which is exactly why I keep coming back!
