I was interested in booking services at Escape Spa and Wellness, but after seeing how the new owner has handled things, I’ll be going elsewhere. Angie, who is incredibly talented and respected by her clients, has always gone out of her way to accommodate people. Instead of showing professionalism and working to build trust with her renters, the new owner chose disrespect, and then, rather than addressing it, decided to write herself a glowing review. That’s not exactly the best look for someone trying to run a business. As a potential client, this makes it clear where the priorities are: appearances over integrity, and control over collaboration. You cannot charge professionals rent for their own businesses and then impose unreasonable restrictions that hurt both them and their clients. In Williston, reputation travels fast, and unfortunately for Escape Spa, mine is already decided, I won’t be booking here.

I was considering booking services at Escape Spa and Wellness, but after hearing how the new owner treats the professionals renting space there, I’ve decided I won’t be giving them my business. One of the renters, Angie, who is amazing at what she does, has always gone out of her way to accommodate her clients. As a client, after hearing about how Escape has been handling the situation, this sends the message that the owner does not value fairness, flexibility, or the renters who actually bring in business. I prefer to support professionals who treat both their clients and colleagues with respect, and unfortunately this spa does not reflect that anymore.

Used to get my spray tans done with the sweetest woman named Angie. She was flexible as I worked during the hours the rest of the spa was open. The owner told her this isn’t allowed. I don’t understand how you can charge rent to someone for their own business and not allow them to access THEIR room they PAY for at any given time.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never have I seen an owner with the least amount of decorum, communication, and respect. It seems as though she is uneducated on the laws regarding the ownership of a building, subletting and renting. As she did recently take over ownership of this property- it is extremely disappointing. Coming from experience- when transitioning to new ownership the absolute last thing you want to do is ‘bulldoze’ how things were previously done. Changes need to be made slowly, with the proper policies followed. One thing about Williston is once your reputation is burned- it’s extremely difficult to come back from. LUCKILY I am not disappointed to not have to return to this location. Any contact I’ve had with any other staff member has been less than desirable. If my preferred artist wasn’t here- I would not bring business here.

Tanning beds are warm with stand up option available! Teeth whitening was great and I can definitely tell I went up several shades lighter.
