  I'm a 33 year-old that has bounced around from stylist to stylist her whole life, but finally found my 'hair home'. Because these days, there's as many salons/stylists as there are Dollar Generals. I'd give someone a chance, but if they didn't feel like home, I want going back. No hard feelings, but I was looking for somewhere my hair could call home. My mom has used Sam for years, and absolutely loves her, but I wanted my own person. I found Khrista and loved her portfolio, so I had to give her a try. Not only did she listen, but she nailed it. Between the cut, getting that perfect shade of honey gold and keeping it low maintenance, I booked again, and again... 😂 Happy to say, I've found my 'hair home'

  Absolutely love Sam. She did an awesome job on my hair! She did what no other has been able to do. Thank you so much, Sam, for your professionalism and ability! Not to mention your wonderful personality!

  Sam does my hair here and nails it everytime! I also got a prenatal massage that was heaven sent!

  My review is in response to @Amber Weiss’ comment… I wanted to take a moment to address your recent review regarding your experience with Krista at the salon I, too, visit. Firstly, I sincerely apologize to Krista for this inaccurate review. I was in the salon as a customer when this situation occurred, and I heard the entire conversation. Krista always strives to create a positive and welcoming environment for her clients, the conversation actually didn’t go down how you stated it did, and I believe that others should be aware of this being a false narrative. The ladies at this salon, Krista included, would never intentionally allow any of their personal feelings or frustrations to affect their clients' experiences. I am sure Essentials Salon value all feedback, but it’s important to note that the situation that occurred was not how you stated, and Krista has a strong track record of providing excellent service. Regarding pricing and my experience, the rates here are competitive within the industry and reflect the quality of service and products they provide. As for tipping, how did you know she was unhappy with your tip? Any amount I am sure is appreciated, and it should never be a measure of the service you receive. I don’t think it’s fair to discredit someone’s experience if it was factual information, but from another customer perspective, the narrative you played here is incorrect and slanderous. You seemed more than happy when you left the salon, and maybe next time you can share the entire experience and not false accusations.

  Gina does a wonderful job on my eyebrows, my eyes look so much better when she's finished. I also had a facial done by her and it was wonderful! So relaxing and I felt so refreshed once it was done. She's such a caring person that wants to please and make her customers happy, great work everytime
