  Loved how the front desk staff is considerate of massages going on and didn’t talk loudly when people walked in to book. The massage therapist never asked what pressure I wanted but he did a good job!

  I went to Happy Massage (edited after verifying location) in Turlock a few weeks ago with my son, and we decided to try the foot massage. We were pleasantly surprised when they did much more than just our feet—it was a nice massage overall and definitely worth the price. The only downsides that first time were that the room felt very hot and there was a communication barrier since no one spoke English. But despite that, we enjoyed it enough that I decided to go back yesterday with my fiancé. This time, unfortunately, the experience was very different. They handed us sheets to check off what type of massage we wanted, since they can’t explain things verbally. We chose the full-body massage and were placed in a couple’s room. Right away we were put off because the sheets seemed dirty, almost as if they hadn’t been washed, and they used paper towels instead of proper face protectors. Through the face hole in the massage bed, I also noticed that the floors were not clean. On top of that, the room was extremely hot, making it hard to relax. The massage itself was not good. My therapist was extremely rough, even after I repeatedly asked her to go lighter. I left feeling more tense than when I walked in, and I actually woke up this morning with a bruise on my hip from how hard she pressed. My fiancé’s experience wasn’t any better—his therapist was literally on her knees and elbows on his back, pressing into his bones instead of the muscles, which left him in pain. Overall, we left feeling beat up instead of relaxed. We get massages often, so we know what a good experience should feel like, and this was not it. Between the lack of cleanliness, the extreme roughness, the uncomfortable temperature, and the inability to communicate concerns due to the language barrier, I can’t recommend this place for a full-body massage. If you don’t speak the language, it’s especially difficult. Sadly, this was not worth the money (over $100) and was a very unpleasant experience.

  You need a quick fix and can't get into your Massage therapist this Place works great!

  I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to do so after the experience my boyfriend and I had: My boyfriend booked us a couples massage and called before, they didn't seem to have wrote down the appt. We had to pay up front before the service. He tipped ( BEFORE THE SERVICE ) $5 each. The lady that helped us at the front desk laughed at the tab and said 20% tip and basically told us to tip more which we did not. Last time I check the tip is optional and usually you tip based off how your service went. If we would have tipped after there would have been a $0 tip. During the first part of our massage the two employees were talking to each other and I felt like this was inappropriate because we were not able to understand what they were saying, so how would we have known if they were making inappropriate comments. During the foot massage the lady kept getting up to help customers and stopping the massage. Overall the whole experience was horrible and just kept getting worse. I would never recommend this place. It was extremely unprofessional and the staff was just rude. You should be grateful the community is supporting your business because there are so many other business's that would appreciate our business especially being in the times that we are in. I honestly could not believe how bad the experience was.

  This massage is very good. My wife and I have been there many times. They are very enthusiastic and the massage technique is also very good. We will go there often in the future!
