  To start off I am a licensed hair stylist/cosmetologist which I didn’t bring up to Twila knowing i shouldn’t have had to but the two times I went to her I had a terrible experience .this happened about 4 months ago but I bring it up now for anyone that was thinking of going to Twila for highlights .when I created my first appointment it was for all over highlights.i had black hair going into this appointment so I knew I wasn’t going to leave blonde but thought I would at least leave with som dimension and a nice color .i was there for 3 hours the first appointment and cried in her chair when I saw it .the first few pictures is what I had the first session .she said she won’t charge me the next appointment and that she will fix it .a couple days before my next appointment she texted me saying she is going to have to charge me and told me millions of times I’m not going to be blonde which I told her I was aware also millions of times .i started to not trust her like she didn’t know what she was doing .i told her I’m not paying full price when you have already told me she wouldn’t make me pay full price .so i told her i will go somewhere else which made her jump back to saying she will do it half price .so me being the person i am I went back to her .i really wish i didnt .she made me feel so insecure in her chair saying that it’s a ugly color and that this was NOT her wok .i didnt go to anyone prior or touch in between the both appointments it was all her work.she then proceeded to do more highlights and left me with what you see in the last few pictures .it sucks paying so much for something you didnt want and left looking worse then how you did before .she didnt care and was a very mean person.i ended up getting it fixed which im very happy for and when i told people i went to Twila they said dont go to her she messed me up .so it’s not just me that has experienced this .be careful who you go to with your hair .

  My 12-yr-old daughter came in for a haircut and color. Twila did an amazing job to make sure she got the color right for my daughter's hair. She wanted red and Twila wanted to protect her hair so she did not bleach it and did everything in her power to get the color just right. The cut was just what she wanted and I am happy to say that Twila's work is A1! She really cares about her clients and is great at listening to what her client wants and she'll do whatever she can to make sure the client leaves happy. This left a positive lasting memory for my daughter since it was her very first hair color experience. Thanks Twila!

  Over priced women's haircut and was salesmaned afterwards. The stylist proceeded to inform me that she would be getting a whole new product soon anyway that is better and to come back. Other awkward conversation throughout the cut. Left a bad enough experience that I no longer will get my haircut in Florence. My recommendation is see another stylist and support businesses you appreciate and believe in.

  Absolutely awful haircut. Now I need to get my haircut again because of this place. Absolutely, under any circumstances, do not come here.
