  I purchased a gift certificate for a couples massage at Lincoln Massage in Yuba City around Christmas time. When we went in on Wednesday, we used the $60 gift certificate and paid another $60 in cash for the second massage. When we arrived, the front desk woman and the male masseuse were speaking in another language, and the woman who was originally supposed to do the massage appeared to leave. Another woman came in to massage me, but the experience was very disappointing. She only rubbed my back the entire time and it did not feel like a proper massage at all—more like a quick rub down. When we were leaving, they demanded a tip and made us feel uncomfortable when we didn’t immediately give one. A tip should be given for great service that goes above and beyond, not something that should be forced or mandatory. The way they pressured us for a tip made us feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience did not feel professional and did not match what we expected from a massage service.

  I recently went to Lincoln Massage in Yuba City with my boyfriend for a couples massage using a gift certificate he purchased around Christmas. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing and felt very unorganized. When we arrived, we could hear the staff talking back and forth while we were waiting in the rooms. It sounded like the original woman who was supposed to give the massages had left early. Because of that, the woman who usually works at the front desk ended up coming in to massage my boyfriend, while the male masseuse worked on me. During the massage, my boyfriend said the service he received didn’t feel like a real massage at all. He described it as more of a simple rub down rather than an actual massage. For my massage, I had asked for medium-firm pressure, but there was very little pressure and it didn’t feel therapeutic at all. I’ve had professional massages before, including services at Massage Envy and even cupping massages, and those experiences felt much more like actual massage therapy. This experience just felt like light rubbing with no real technique. When we were leaving, the staff insisted that we leave a tip. My boyfriend explained that tips are usually based on the quality of the experience, but they laughed and told us that “everyone tips.” The situation made us feel uncomfortable and pressured. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, and the massages did not match what we expected from a couples massage service.

  Ummm can I just say Anna is amazing?! I called seeing if she took walk-ins. She prefers appointments but she had some time before her 11am and said if I came right away she could get me in for a 30-minute massage which is what I wanted. Her card machine was down but there is a liquor store in the same parking lot with a nice owner that had an ATM machine that she directed me to. It was $40 for a 30-min massage. She created such a relaxing space and the massage was incredible. She made me feel safe and relaxed which is exactly what I needed. She asked whether I wanted soft, medium or hard and I picked hard as I had just come from a chiropractic adjustment and it had been a while since I had a good massage and I certainly had some kinks that needed a bit more working out. She got ALL my knots lol it was the perfect compliment to an amazing adjustment. I feel amazing! She offered me some candy at the end and even gave me a hug. Just sooo sweet and the most amazing energy. I gave her a tip in cash as well and I will definitely be back! Highly recommend,

  I stopped by st the last minute and was greeted by a therapist who could get me right in for an hour full body massage. I got the most relaxing massage that I’ve had in ages! She focused on each area that I asked her to, and found lots of other knots that I didn’t even know existed) from the top of my head to the tips of my toes… The foot massage was an absolute extra bonus! I’ll definitely be going back to this see this masseuse again!!

  I’ve been coming here weekly for massages, and it’s truly one of the best parts of my routine. Every session is consistently amazing—relaxing, professional, and exactly what I need to unwind and reset. The space is peaceful, and the care and attention to detail are always top-notch. You can really tell that they care about their clients and take pride in what they do. Highly recommend to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable bodywork!
