  I am devastated. Prior to coming to this salon, my hair was very thick. I went to Pacific Rose to ONLY get my choppy layers softened/blended better. I wanted to keep the length, shape, & thickness of my hair as much as possible. I got in the chair, she didn’t talk with me much about my goals or what I wanted, then pulled out thinning shears & went to town. She did not ask me if I wanted my hair thinned at all, so it was a complete surprise to me when I came out of the salon with WAY less than half the thickness of my hair. The under half of my hair is so thin (when I braid it or put it up it looks like a rat tail) & the top half of my head is thicker, leaving me with a completely undesired mullet. I wish she would have never picked up the thinning shears and just used a point cut technique or something to soften the layers. Or if she didn’t think she could soften my layers, without taking out most of my hair thickness, I would have much rather her turn me away then just thin out all of my hair without asking me. I have spent almost a year and a half growing the bleach out of my hair. I was excited to have thick/healthy hair again & to grow it out long… all for it to be thinned out in 20 minutes. Now the only way to make my hair relatively thick again, will be to cut off more length. This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I put my trust in this salon & I honestly wish I would have never come in.

  My whole family loves Pacific Rose Salon and Suzi! She does great with my toddler, who wiggles a lot! She's so kind and patient with her. My 10 year old son has been going to her since he was a toddler, and she always pulls through for him, from fades with designs in them, to perming his hair, she has always taken care of him. She remembers my husband's cut, and is always great at communicating with him when he wants to change it up! She's taken care of me for the last ten years and has always treated my hair with integrity, and I always leave feeling refreshed, and happy! We've done everything from huge chops to maintenance trims. Vivid colors, white blonde, to taking me back to my natural. We've done highlights, balayage, dying half off my hair black, the other half blonde- honestly everything you can think of, and she always is honest and what my hair can handle, the realistics of such hair, and everything in between. PLUS the salon is such a beautiful space!

  Suzi makes me feel beautiful! She is a genius! This is the most uplifting salon I have ever been in. Everyone is super positive. Highly recommend!

  Nikki did a WONDERFUL job on my hair! She listened to my vision, asked questions to make sure she got it right, and then made it reality! So thankful I was able to have such a fun, relatable, and talented hair dresser to help me!!!

  Suzi was amazing! She fit my teenage son in the same day when he was having trouble getting an appointment at a barber. He has very curly hair and loves a clean fade, and he walked out absolutely thrilled with his cut. She spent over an hour with him—not only giving him a sharp fade, but also washing, conditioning, detangling his curls, and even doing a scalp treatment. He felt truly pampered, and no barber has ever treated his curls with that kind of care. He left grinning from ear to ear. He no longer needs to search for a barber—he’s found his forever stylist! Now the whole family will be loyal customers. Thank you, Suzi!
